What Is The Extended Countertop Care Program?

The Jade Stone Extended Countertop Care Program is a preventative maintenance and cosmetic care service, designed to help preserve the appearance and cleanliness of your countertop surfaces over time.

Please Note: This program is designed to maintain, refresh, and slow visible wear, it does not restore stone to a like-new or original manufacturing condition, and is not intended to correct structural defects.

Undermount Sink Re-Siliconing

  • Old silicone removed and replaced with fresh bead
  • Restores cleaner appearance around sink edge
  • Helps reduce risk of water intrusion into cabinetry
  • Does not alter sink mounting hardware or supports

Surface Rejuvenation Cleaning & Buffing

  • Removes surface residue, oils, and everyday buildup
  • Light buffing enhances appearance and freshness
  • Does not remove deep stains, etching, cracks, burns, or discoloration

Stone Sealing (Natural Stone Only)

  • Professional stone sealer applied after cleaning
  • Helps reduce liquid absorption into the surface
  • Does not make stone stain-proof or maintenance-free
  • Recommended frequency depends on stone type and usage

Scheduling

Service Frequency

Annual Service
Recommended for light to moderate household use. One visit per year to keep your surfaces looking their best.
Bi-Annual Service
Every 6 months. Suitable for busy kitchens and higher-use countertop surfaces.
Quarterly Service
Every 3 months. Ideal for heavy use, entertaining households, or premium stone surfaces.

Actual scheduling is subject to availability and program term.

Program Limitations

What This Program Does Not Cover

Services are cosmetic and preventative in nature. Results will vary. The following are explicitly excluded:

  • Structural cracking, movement, or substrate failure
  • Heat damage, impact damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Pre-existing damage beyond cosmetic improvement
  • Stains, etching, or discoloration that cannot be reasonably reduced by cleaning
  • Colour uniformity or invisibility of repairs
  • Full surface replacement
  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or unapproved cleaners
  • Alterations or repairs performed by third parties
Nothing in this program limits or replaces rights provided under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
